Frequently asked questions
Does ClaseAlDía issue invoices?
No. ClaseAlDía does not issue invoices — keep using your accounting tool. It records who has paid each month and can produce a simple payment receipt, which is not an invoice. Your invoicing and tax records stay where they are now, in your accounting software or with your accountant. If you are unsure what applies to you, ask your accountant.
What about pupils’ data and GDPR?
You are the data controller for your pupils’ and families’ data, and ClaseAlDía acts as your processor. When you sign up you accept a data processing agreement (GDPR / UK GDPR, Article 28), which you can read in full. Data is hosted on Cloudflare infrastructure, is never sold or used for advertising, and you can export or delete it whenever you like. You are responsible for telling families how their data is used and, where the law requires it, for getting parental consent.
Do families have to install anything?
No. They receive notices by email and have a private page they open from a personal link, showing the timetable, attendance, fees and notices. You can share that link on WhatsApp without giving out your own number or creating a group.
How do I cancel?
From the app, under Settings, with no calls or forms. There is no lock-in: you pay monthly or annually and can stop whenever you like.
How do I move my pupils over from Excel?
We’ll help by email: send your sheet to hola@go4funnylife.com and we’ll explain how to get it loaded. With a handful of pupils, adding them by hand takes a few minutes anyway.
Do I need a card to try it? And what happens when the trial ends?
No card is needed to start. You get 30 days with every feature. If you don’t subscribe by the end, your account becomes read-only: you can view and export all your data but not record anything new.
Can I change plan?
Yes, any time from the app. If you outgrow your plan (pupils or tutors), the app tells you and suggests the next one up.
Does it work on a phone?
It is designed for the phone, because that is where you take the register. It runs in the browser with nothing to install, and works on tablets and computers too.
Which currency and payment methods does it support?
UK centres work in pounds sterling and Irish centres in euros. ClaseAlDía records how each family paid (cash, bank transfer, card, direct debit or other). It does not take payments from families, so you carry on collecting fees the way you do now.
